To become the best version of yourself means that you become your True Self. It means that all good and all bad are accepted and integrated.
As Carl Jung once said: “Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
My journey to becoming began with my understanding of my God, my Creator. Once I understood who God is and how He operates, I understood who I am and my purpose.
Becoming yourself causes for deep inner work such as healing, praying, and looking withing your Spirit. It demands new habits and learning.
It is best to explain something by detailing what to do. However, in this post, I will explain by identifying what isn’t.
Here is a list of what is not being the authentic version of yourself:
- Being true to yourself is not about pleasing others;
- Being true to yourself is not about hurting others;
- Being true to yourself is not about doing things you dislike;
- Being true to yourself is not about forcing yourself to do something;
- Being true to yourself is not aboutgiving grave to yourself;
- Being true to yourself is not about judging others and comparing yourself;
- Being true to yourself is not about being a victim of your surroundings;
- Being true to yourself is not about acting in a way that will attract more publicity.
