What is the wheel of life?
The wheel of life, also known as the “life balance wheel,” “the coaching wheel,” or the “life wheel,” is used to assess and understand how areas in your life are currently balanced and to help achieve a work-life balance. The circle resembles the spokes of a wheel and is used to present and organize the most important aspects of your life, such as family and spiritual life, health and well-being, and career and finances.
Paul J. Meye developed it in 1960.
The Wheel of Life
The wheel of life quickly pinpoints areas of imbalance and enables you to establish intentions and set priorities based on your life vision. Think about the 10 Wheel Categories and decide how satisfied you are with your life in each of these areas. Draw a line across each section to represent your satisfaction score out of 10. Join up the lines to see your Wheel of Life map.

To go deeper, consider each element on the wheel and write down a short declaration to describe what a score of 10 would look like for each element.
